...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHWESTERN SUSSEX...KENT AND
CAROLINE COUNTIES...

At 1050 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Federalsburg,
or near Hurlock, moving northeast at 55 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Dover, Milford, Denton, Harrington, Camden, Federalsburg,
Bridgeville, Greensboro, Preston, Bowers, Goldsboro, Woodside, Viola,
Hartly, Smithville, Rising Sun-Lebanon, Hazlettville, Agner, Dover
Base Housing and Sandtown.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
