The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Kent County in northeastern Maryland...
  Southeastern Cecil County in northeastern Maryland...

* Until 300 AM EDT.

* At 214 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Bowleys
  Quarters, or 7 miles northeast of Millers Island, moving northeast
  at 60 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
           possible.

* Locations impacted include...
  Wilmington, Elkton, Pennsville, New Castle, Chestertown, North
  East, Delaware City, Rock Hall, Charlestown, Cecilton, Betterton,
  Warwick, Barksdale, Glasgow, Bear, Bohemias Mills, Newtown, Port
  Penn, Brantwood and Saint Georges.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service
office in Mount Holly NJ.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
