...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 230 AM EDT FOR CARBON
AND MONROE COUNTIES...

At 123 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
moderate to locally heavy rain. This will cause minor flooding in
the advisory area. Just over one inch of rain has already fallen.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Lehighton, Mount Pocono, East Stroudsburg, Tobyhanna, Palmerton, Jim
Thorpe, Nesquehoning, Weatherly, Stormville, Pocono Pines, Lake
Harmony, Tannersville, Long Pond, Kresgeville, Sun Valley, Reeders,
Beltzville State Park, Saylorsburg, McMichael and Blakeslee.

Additional rainfall of an inch or so is expected over the area. This
additional rain will result in minor flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
