...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 PM EDT FOR WEST
CENTRAL WARREN...CENTRAL LEHIGH AND NORTHAMPTON COUNTIES...

At 834 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain resulted in minor
flooding in the advisory area. Up to one inch of rain fell. The
heaviest rain has moved out of the advisory area, but minor flooding
continues.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Allentown, Easton, Bethlehem, Forks, Northampton, Wilson, Nazareth,
Bangor, Slatington, Pen Argyl, Wind Gap, Bath, Belvidere, Harmony,
Walnutport, Belfast, West Easton, Tatamy, East Bangor and Steuben.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
