...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT TALBOT...SOUTHWESTERN QUEEN
ANNE'S...WEST CENTRAL CAROLINE AND SOUTHWESTERN KENT COUNTIES...

At 825 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Copperville, or
9 miles northwest of Easton, moving east at 35 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Easton, Talbot, Oakland, Ridgely, Trappe, St. Michaels, Oxford, Queen
Anne, Tanyard, Grasonville, Starr, Skipton, Copperville, Jumptown,
Matthews, Wye Mills, Hambleton, Griffin, Cordova and Queenstown.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
