...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 815 PM EDT FOR
NORTHWESTERN CAMDEN...SOUTHEASTERN MONTGOMERY...SOUTHEASTERN BUCKS...
PHILADELPHIA AND NORTHEASTERN DELAWARE COUNTIES...

At 620 PM EDT, the heaviest rain has moved  east of the area however
there have been multiple reports of water rescues and closed roads
in Montgomery County so the Flash Flood Warning remains in effect.
Also, as the water makes its way through the river and stream system
further rising of streams and creeks can be expected. By mid
evening, the flooding should be receding.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Philadelphia, Camden, Bensalem, Norristown, East Norriton, Yeadon,
Doylestown, Conshohocken, Palmyra, Hatboro, Folcroft, Ambler,
Swarthmore, Jenkintown, Narberth, Chalfont, East Lansdowne,
Rockledge, Yardley and Newtown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
