...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHEASTERN ATLANTIC AND
NORTHEASTERN CAPE MAY COUNTIES...

At 252 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over English Creek,
or near Ocean City, moving northeast at 15 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Atlantic City, Ocean City, Pleasantville, Somers Point, Ventnor City,
Northfield, Absecon, Margate City, Estell Manor, Longport, Corbin
City, Mays Landing, Beesleys Point, English Creek, Marmora, Pomona
and Linwood.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm,
including at some of the beaches. Lightning can strike 10 miles away
from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or
vehicle.
