...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT CAPE MAY COUNTY...

At 1258 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a thunderstorm near
Dennisville, or 12 miles southwest of Ocean City. This storm was
nearly stationary.

Locations impacted include...
Cape May, North Wildwood, Wildwood Crest, Woodbine, Sea Isle City,
Avalon, West Cape May, Stone Harbor, Cape May Court House, Scotch
Bonnet, Seaville, Diamond Beach, Green Creek, Dennisville, Goshen,
Rio Grande, North Cape May, Strathmere, Villas and West Wildwood.

Heavy rainfall is occurring with this storm...and may cause ponding
on roadways and poor drainage areas. Do not drive your vehicle
through flooded roadways.

Occasional cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 15 miles away from a thunderstorm. If you see
lightning or hear thunder seek a safe shelter inside a building or
vehicle.
