...AN AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT CARBON COUNTY...

At 401 PM EDT, a cluster of strong thunderstorms was over
Nesquehoning, or near Lehighton, moving east at 5 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph are possible with these storm.

Locations impacted include...
Lehighton, Palmerton, Jim Thorpe, Nesquehoning, Weatherly, New
Mahoning, Beltzville State Park, Penn Forest Reservoir,
Albrightsville, Christmans, Summit Hill, Bowmanstown, Beaver Meadows,
Parryville, Weissport, Trachsville, Weissport East and Tresckow.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storm, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
