...DOVER NEXRAD (KDOX) OFFLINE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

Technicians at Dover AFB are working to repair a leaking roof and
water damage which occurred Friday, August 31, 2018 to the Radar
Data Acquisition Unit and Radar Product Generator. Technicians
will work to troubleshoot the extent of the damage and make
necessary repairs. Due nature of the troubleshooting and repairs
the Dover KDOX radar is expected to remain offline until further
notice.

The following radar systems should be used and remain online
covering the KDOX area:

Wakefield, VA (KAKQ), Sterling, VA (KLWX) and Mt. Holly, NJ
(KDIX)

All radar sites can be accessed via http://radar.weather.gov
