...THE FLOOD ADVISORY FOR MINOR FLOODING IN POOR DRAINAGE AREAS
REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 715 PM EDT FOR SOUTHWESTERN NEW CASTLE AND
NORTHERN KENT COUNTIES...

At 516 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that the heavy rain resulting
in up to one inch of rain has moved out of the advisory area.
Overflowing poor drainage areas will continue to result in minor
flooding in the advisory area.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Middletown, Smyrna, Clayton, Delaney Corner, Mount Pleasant, Woodland
Beach, Green Spring, Townsend, Odessa, Kenton, Leipsic and
Chambersville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Keep children away from storm drains, culverts, creeks and streams.
Water levels can rise rapidly and sweep children away.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
