...Growing Season Ends for Additional Counties in Pennsylvania,
New Jersey and Delaware...

Temperatures early this morning dropped to or just below freezing
at many locations of southeastern Pennsylvania and central and
southern New Jersey. As a result, the 2018 growing season has
ended for the following counties:

In Pennsylvania: Chester, Montgomery, Bucks, Berks and Lehigh.
In New Jersey: Mercer and Burlington.

After reviewing temperature data from early Monday morning and
again for early this morning, the 2018 growing season has also
ended for the state of Delaware which is the following counties:

In Delaware: New Castle, Kent and Sussex.

Therefore, we will no longer be issuing frost/freeze headlines
for these counties until the next growing season begins in the
Spring of 2019.
