...Growing Season Ends in Northeast Pennsylvania and much of
Northern New Jersey...

Temperatures early this morning dropped to freezing or below
across much of northern New Jersey and northeast Pennsylvania. As
a result, the 2018 growing season has ended for the following
counties:

In Pennsylvania: Carbon, Monroe and Northampton.
In New Jersey: Sussex, Warren, Morris, Hunterdon and Somerset.

Therefore, we will no longer be issuing frost/freeze headlines
for these counties until the next growing season begins in the
Spring of 2019.
