...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT EASTERN ATLANTIC...
OCEAN...EASTERN BURLINGTON AND SOUTHEASTERN MONMOUTH COUNTIES...

At 1124 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from Long Branch to near Whiting to
Tabernacle. Movement was southeast at 45 mph.

Winds up to 50 mph and pea size hail are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Toms River, Atlantic City, Long Branch, Asbury Park, Lakewood,
Jackson, Howell, Barnegat, Pleasantville, Tinton Falls, Red Bank,
Beachwood, Ventnor City, Brigantine, Absecon, Tabernacle, Shamong,
Manasquan, Point Pleasant Beach and Egg Harbor City.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
