...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM EST FOR
MORRIS...SOUTH CENTRAL SUSSEX AND NORTH CENTRAL SOMERSET COUNTIES...

At 614 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated the heavy rain had left the
warned area. However, additional light rain is possible, and water
will be slow to recede given the already saturated ground.
Therefore, the flash flood warning continues. Up to one inch of rain
has already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Morristown, Dover, Madison, Hopatcong, Florham Park, East Hanover,
Lincoln Park, Boonton, Wharton, Rockaway, Morris Plains, Mount
Arlington, Mendham, Mountain Lakes, Stanhope, Netcong, Peapack And
Gladstone, Chester, Victory Gardens and Far Hills.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
