...THE FLOOD ADVISORY FOR MINOR FLOODING IN POOR DRAINAGE AREAS
REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 945 PM EST FOR SOUTHEASTERN ATLANTIC AND CAPE
MAY COUNTIES...

At 846 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated the heavy rain has moved
offshore, but overflowing poor drainage areas will continue to
result in minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to two inches of
rain fell.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Atlantic City, Ocean City, Cape May, Pleasantville, Somers Point,
Ventnor City, Brigantine, Northfield, Absecon, Margate City, North
Wildwood, Wildwood Crest, Sea Isle City, Avalon, West Cape May,
Longport, Stone Harbor, Corbin City, Cape May Court House and Scotch
Bonnet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Keep children away from storm drains, culverts, creeks and streams.
Water levels can rise rapidly and sweep children away.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
