The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has extended the

* Flood Warning for...
  Central Morris County in northern New Jersey...
  Sussex County in northwestern New Jersey...
  Warren County in northwestern New Jersey...

* Until 215 PM EST.

* At 1004 AM EST, reporting gauges indicate the Pequest River
  remains in flood in Warren County and is near flood stage in
  Sussex County. Additionally, some residual flooding is still
  occurring with a few other creeks and streams in the warned area.
  Though area creeks, streams, and rivers are beginning to recede,
  flooding is expected to continue for a few more hours.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
  Newton, Montague, Hopatcong, Hackettstown, Wharton, Washington,
  Blairstown, Mount Arlington, Franklin, Stanhope, Hamburg, Netcong,
  Belvidere, Harmony, Oxford, Ogdensburg, Alpha, Hope, Hampton and
  Bloomsbury.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
