NORTHWESTERN BURLINGTON...MONTGOMERY...SOUTHERN BUCKS...CHESTER...
PHILADELPHIA AND DELAWARE COUNTIES...

At 257 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain. Up to an inch of rain has fallen in portions of New
Castle, Chester, and Delaware Counties and is spreading northeast
into the Philadelphia metropolitan area at this time. This will
cause urban and small stream flooding in the advisory area.

Philadelphia, Camden, Wilmington, Vineland, Newark, West Chester,
Elkton, Gloucester City, Calvert, Cherry Hill, Bensalem, Evesham,
Mount Laurel, Norristown, Chester, Willingboro, Deptford, Voorhees,

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
