...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 500 PM EDT
FOR MORRIS...NORTHWESTERN HUNTERDON...SUSSEX...WARREN...BERKS...
LEHIGH AND NORTHAMPTON COUNTIES...

At 414 PM EDT, a line of severe thunderstorms were located from near
Newton in Sussex County New Jersey southwest to near Womelsdorf in
Berks County Pennsylvania. The storms were moving east at 65 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Expect considerable
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Allentown, Reading, Easton, Port Jervis, Newton, Montague, Bethlehem,
Dover, Hopatcong, Forks, Emmaus, Wyomissing, Kinnelon, Northampton,
Hackettstown, Boonton, Wilson, Butler, Wharton and Washington.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

In addition to large hail and damaging winds, frequent cloud to
ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors
immediately. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough
to be struck by lightning.
