At 743 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Cayots, or 8
miles west of Middletown, moving east at 45 mph.

Winds up to 45 mph and dime size hail are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Middletown, Elkton, North East, Charlestown, Warwick, Mount Pleasant,
Bohemias Mills, Hancocks Bridge, Newport Meadows, Port Penn,
Brantwood, Hope Creek, Cayots, Hollywood Beach, Glasgow, Chesapeake
City and Odessa.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
