This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Delaware, northern
Delaware, northeast Maryland, central New Jersey, northern New
Jersey, northwest New Jersey, southern New Jersey and southeast
Pennsylvania.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
A coastal storm will impact the region on Tuesday. A wintry mix is
expected to overspread the area from the south Tuesday morning and
could impact travel during the day. Rain and sleet mixing in with
the wet snow could cut down on snowfall accumulations on Tuesday,
especially in southern New Jersey and Delmarva. Snow accumulations
of 1 to 3 inches are possible Tuesday into Tuesday night with the
highest amounts likely at higher elevations closer to the Mason-Dixon
line.
A second, probably stronger, coastal low is expected to develop
Tuesday night and impact portions of the region on Wednesday. There
is a potential for significant snowfall if the storm tracks close
enough to the area. The combination of heavy wet snow and gusty
northeast winds could lead to extensive power outages in this
scenario. However, there is still considerable uncertainty in the
track of the second coastal storm, so please continue to monitor the
latest forecast.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
A coastal storm will impact the region on Tuesday. A wintry mix is
expected to overspread the area from the south Tuesday morning and
could impact travel during the day, especially north of Atlantic
City, New Jersey where rain is less likely. Strong northeast
winds gusts to 40 mph are expected along the coast.
A second, probably stronger, coastal low is expected to develop
Tuesday night and impact portions of the region on Wednesday. There
is a potential for significant snowfall if the storm tracks close
enough to the area. The combination of heavy wet snow and strong
northeast winds could lead to extensive power outages in this
scenario. However, there is still considerable uncertainty in the
track of the second coastal storm, so please continue to monitor the
latest forecast.
The risk for minor coastal flooding will increase late Tuesday. Minor
to moderate coastal flooding is possible on Wednesday.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northern New Jersey, east
central Pennsylvania and northeast Pennsylvania.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
A coastal storm will impact portions of the region on Tuesday. At
this time, the greatest risk for accumulating snow will be south of
Interstate 78 but even a subtle shift in the storm track could bring
accumulation snow into northeastern Pennsylvania and northern New
Jersey.
A second, probably stronger, coastal low is expected to develop
Tuesday night and impact portions of the region on Wednesday. There
is a potential for significant snowfall across eastern portions of
the area if the storm tracks close enough to the coast. The
combination of heavy wet snow and strong northeast winds could lead
to extensive power outages in this scenario. However, there is still
high uncertainty in the track, so please continue to monitor the
latest forecast.
