...Slippery travel expected on untreated surfaces over all higher
terrain locations during the night...
Bands of moderate snow will develop overnight across eastern
Pennsylvania...northwest New Jersey and the extreme northeast tip
of Maryland. Most hilly locations will receive 1 to 3 inches of
snow but isolated 5 inch amounts are possible by sunrise over the
the Poconos and other terrain above 1000 feet in eastern
Pennsylvania and northwest new Jersey.
As of 11PM...Huffs Church in an elevated portion of eastern Berks
County had reported around 1.5 inches of snow.
Be prepared for rapidly changing road conditions, especially
traveling across higher terrain overnight.

to metro Philadelphia and Wilmington toward 4 am...
Mixed rain and snow will be changing to snow overnight and it may
come down moderately for an hour or two between 1 AM and 7 AM.
That could coat many untreated surfaces with a slushy accumulation
of an inch or two.
Be prepared for rapidly changing road conditions after midnight as
temperatures fall to near freezing and snowfall rates intensify.

Snow across northern and northeastern New Jersey will probably
fall moderately at times between 1 AM and 7 AM, then end during
late Tuesday morning. Temperatures will fall to near freezing
overnight and widespread accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are
anticipated by sunrise. Isolated 5 inch amounts are possible in
the hilly areas.
Be prepared to slow down early Tuesday to reach your destination
safely and probably count on a significant increase in travel
time.

overnight. As temperatures fall to near freezing, slushy
accumulations may develop even down to to the Delaware Bay and
Atlantic coasts.
Be alert for deteriorating travel conditions overnight.
