...AN AREA OF MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT
PORTIONS OF THE LEHIGH VALLEY, SOUTHEASTERN PENNSYLVANIA, AND
CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY EARLY THIS AFTERNOON...

At 1220 PM EST, an area of moderate to locally heavy snow was
located over the Lehigh Valley, the northern suburbs of
Philadelphia and central and southern New Jersey. Visibilities
have been reduced to one-half mile at times with a few spots
as low as one-quarter mile. With the ground still warm, snowfall
accumulations will initially be limited to non-paved surfaces
such as grass, sidewalks and cars. Several traffic cameras in
eastern Pennsylvania and central New Jersey between Interstate 78
and the Pennsylvania Turnpike/Interstate 195, where the snow has
already been falling for a couple of hours, show roads starting
to become snow covered.

The rapid changes in visibility and potentially slick roads are
likely to lead to accidents. Slow down and allow extra time to
safely reach your destination.
