...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHWESTERN BERKS COUNTY...

At 603 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Richland, or
near Myerstown, moving east at 30 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Wyomissing, Sinking Spring, Womelsdorf, Wernersville, Newmanstown,
Leesport, Bernville, Strausstown, Fairview Hgts, Spring Ridge,
Centerport, West Lawn, Whitfield, West Wyomissing and Wyomissing
Hills.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
