NORTHWESTERN CAMDEN...BURLINGTON...SOUTHEASTERN MONTGOMERY...SOUTH
CENTRAL BUCKS...NORTHEASTERN CHESTER...PHILADELPHIA AND NORTHEASTERN
DELAWARE COUNTIES...

At 1211 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated an
area of very heavy rainfall across the warned area. Up to two inches
of rain has already fallen across much of the warned area, but there
are areas where up to three inches of rain has fallen. Parts of
these counties are also under a Flash Flood Warning.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Philadelphia, Camden, Gloucester City, Cherry Hill, Bensalem,
Evesham, Mount Laurel, Norristown, Willingboro, Voorhees, Medford,
Lansdale, West Norriton, East Norriton, Lumberton, Florence, Yeadon,
Burlington, Bristol and Mount Holly.

An additional one to as much as three inches of rain will fall.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
