...A THUNDERSTORM WITH TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS WILL AFFECT NORTHWEST
SUSSEX AND SOUTHWESTERN KENT COUNTIES IN DELAWARE...AND NORTHEASTERN
TALBOT AND CAROLINE COUNTIES IN MARYLAND...

At 347 PM EDT, a thunderstorm was located over Harmony, or 8 miles
east of Easton, moving northeast at 10 mph. Torrential downpours
with rainfall rates of one inch in 30 minutes will occur with this
storm, and may cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle
through flooded roadways.

Locations impacted include...
Easton, Denton, Harrington, Bridgeville, Preston, Tanyard, Harmony,
Smithville, Agner, Matthews, Choptank, Griffin, Windyhill, Cordova,
Andrewsville, Greenwood and Farmington.

Cloud to ground lightning is also occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
