...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 PM EDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN NEW CASTLE...NORTHERN KENT...NORTHEASTERN QUEEN
ANNE'S AND NORTHEASTERN KENT COUNTIES...

At 408 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Cheswold, or
near Dover, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Dover, Smyrna, Camden, Clayton, Cheswold, Millington, Sudlersville,
Hartly, Rising Sun-Lebanon, Woodland Beach, Hazlettville, Morgnec,
Delaney Corner, Dover Base Housing, Crumpton, Dover Speedway, Green
Spring, Rising Sun, Massey and Kennedyville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

In addition to hail and damaging winds, frequent cloud to ground
lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately.
Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck
by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
