...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT EAST CENTRAL MONMOUTH COUNTY...

At 826 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Elberon, or
over Long Branch, moving east at 30 mph.

Winds up to 50 mph and pea size hail are possible with this storm.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of Eastern Monmouth
County, including the following locations... Avon-By-the-sea,
Allenhurst, Ocean Grove, West Long Branch, Wanamassa, Loch Arbour,
Neptune City, Eatontown, Deal and Oakhurst.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
