The heavy rain has ended and flood waters are receding. As a result,
the Flood Advisory has been cancelled.

...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 130 AM EDT FOR CECIL
AND CHESTER COUNTIES...

At 1240 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that rainfall rates were
decreasing in Chester County and Cecil County. However, runoff from
the heavy rain will continue to result in ponding of water on
roadways and in areas of poor drainage. The water will recede
overnight as the rain comes to an end.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
West Chester, Elkton, Coatesville, Westtown, Downingtown, Oxford,
Parkesburg, North East and Rising Sun.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
