The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Northwestern Atlantic County in southern New Jersey...
  Camden County in southern New Jersey...
  Central Gloucester County in southern New Jersey...
  Southern Burlington County in southern New Jersey...

* Until 945 PM EDT.

* At 552 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
  heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in
  the advisory area. One to two inches of rain has already fallen in
  the past 30 to 45 minutes.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
  Deptford, West Deptford, Glassboro, Lindenwold, Hammonton,
  Woodbury, Pitman, Clayton, Berlin, Shamong, Paulsboro, Woodbury
  Heights, Chesilhurst, Sicklerville, Atsion, Chatsworth, Atco,
  Wharton State Forest, Williamstown and Batsto.

Additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is expected over the area. This
additional rain will result in minor flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

These storms are slowing down as they move southward. A Flash Flood
Warning may be needed if storm motion continues to decrease,
allowing for the torrential downpours to continue over the same
locations early this evening.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
