FOR NORTHEASTERN MIDDLESEX COUNTY...

At 449 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Carteret, or
near Perth Amboy, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
New Brunswick, Perth Amboy, Edison, East Brunswick, Sayreville,
Carteret, Colonia, Woodbridge, South Plainfield, South River,
Highland Park, Metuchen, Iselin, Sewaren, Port Reading, Fords, Avenel
and Madison Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
