...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHERN MORRIS...NORTHEASTERN
HUNTERDON AND NORTHERN SOMERSET COUNTIES...

At 123 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Peapack And
Gladstone, or 9 miles west of Morristown, moving east at 15 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Morristown, Dover, Madison, Florham Park, East Hanover, Chatham,
Boonton, Rockaway, Morris Plains, Mendham, Mountain Lakes, Peapack
And Gladstone, Chester, Victory Gardens, Lebanon, Califon, Far Hills,
Millington, Parsippany and White House Station.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
northern and northwestern New Jersey.
