...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHWESTERN NEW CASTLE AND
SALEM COUNTIES...

At 114 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Delaware City,
or 11 miles northeast of Middletown, moving east at 20 mph. Other
storms were rapidly developing to the southwest near Townsend.

Winds up to 40 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Middletown, Pennsville, Carneys Point, Salem, Woodstown, Alloway,
Quinton, Delaware City, Saint Georges, Mount Pleasant, Green Spring,
Hancocks Bridge, Port Penn, Hope Creek, Delaney Corner, Townsend,
Odessa and Chambersville.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional
information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
