...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT CENTRAL BERKS...
NORTHWESTERN LEHIGH AND CENTRAL CARBON COUNTIES...

At 628 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Tremont to Marietta. Movement was
east at 15 mph.

Heavy rainfall is occurring with these showers...and may cause
ponding on roadways and poor drainage areas. Do not drive your
vehicle through flooded roadways.

Occasional lightning may also develop at any time. Lightning can
strike 15 miles away from a thunderstorm. If you see lightning or
hear thunder seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.

Reading, Wyomissing, Jim Thorpe, Hamburg, Sinking Spring, Laureldale,
Nesquehoning, Womelsdorf, Weatherly, Wernersville, Newmanstown,
Leesport, Shoemakersville, Bernville, Strausstown, Lenhartsville, New
Mahoning, Spring Ridge, Fairview Hgts and Wanamakers.
