...THE FLOOD ADVISORY HAS BEEN CANCELLED FOR WESTERN SUSSEX COUNTY...

The heavy rain has ended for now across the area, and flooding is no
longer expected to pose a threat. However, additional heavy rain is
possible during this evening and overnight.

...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 715 PM EDT FOR
SOUTHWESTERN NEW CASTLE...KENT...NORTHEASTERN QUEEN ANNE'S...EASTERN
CAROLINE...NORTHEASTERN KENT AND SOUTHEASTERN CECIL COUNTIES...

At 644 PM EDT,  Doppler radar indicated an area of moderate to heavy
rain associated with showers moving across the advisory area. This
will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. One to one and a
half inches of rain has already fallen in some areas with additional
rainfall expected.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Dover, Middletown, Smyrna, Denton, Harrington, Camden, Clayton,
Federalsburg, Greensboro, Cheswold, Millington, Goldsboro, Woodside,
Viola, Hartly, Warwick, Smithville, Rising Sun-Lebanon, Woodland
Beach and Bohemias Mills.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses
as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or
ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
