...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 AM EDT FOR NEW
CASTLE...CECIL...SALEM...NORTHWESTERN GLOUCESTER...MONTGOMERY...
WESTERN BUCKS...CHESTER...SOUTHWESTERN PHILADELPHIA AND DELAWARE
COUNTIES...

At 938 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated another band of heavy rain
toward the advisory area that may cause minor flooding.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Philadelphia, Wilmington, Newark, Middletown, West Chester, Elkton,
Calvert, Norristown, Chester, Pottstown, West Deptford, Glassboro,
Phoenixville, West Norriton, East Norriton, Pennsville, Coatesville,
Yeadon, Westtown and Smyrna.

Some locations may receive another inch of rain.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
