The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Cecil County in northeastern Maryland...

* Until 445 AM EDT.

* At 1244 AM EDT, flooding continues along the Big Elk Creek near
  Elk Mills. The creek is running about 3 feet above flood stage due
  to heavy rains earlier tonight. The creek will remain above flood
  stage for several more hours.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
  Elkton, North East, Blake, Barksdale, Lombard, Andora, Brantwood,
  Pleasant Hill, Cherry Hill, Fair Hill, Glen Westover, Appleton and
  Chesapeake City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
