The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Cecil County in northeastern Maryland...

* Until 115 AM EDT.

* At 1007 PM EDT, the Big Elk Creek in Elk Mills remains well above
  flood stage due to earlier excessive rainfall. Rainfall amounts of
  2 to 4 inches have been reported.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
  Newark, Elkton, Calvert, North East, Rising Sun, Charlestown, Zion,
  Blake, Barksdale, Lombard, Andora, Pleasant Hill, Cherry Hill, Fair
  Hill, Glen Westover, Bay View, Farmington, Appleton and Glasgow.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
