EASTERN CECIL AND SOUTHWESTERN CHESTER COUNTIES...

At 232 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Hollywood
Beach, or near Elkton, moving north at 25 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Newark, Elkton, Calvert, Oxford, North East, Charlestown, Zion,
Blake, Barksdale, North Star, Glasgow, Bohemias Mills, Brantwood,
Pike Creek, Fair Hill, Glen Westover, Bay View, Lombard, Andora and
Pleasant Hill.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
