...AN AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT NORTHEASTERN OCEAN AND
SOUTHEASTERN MONMOUTH COUNTIES...

At 351 PM EDT, a cluster of strong thunderstorms was over Collingwood
Park, or near Asbury Park, moving east at 20 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Toms River, Long Branch, Asbury Park, Lakewood, Howell, Tinton Falls,
Manasquan, Point Pleasant Beach, Farmingdale, Mantoloking, Leisure
Village, Allenwood, Dover Beaches North, Leisure Village East,
Elberon, Ramtown, Brick Township, Collingwood Park, Point Pleasant
and Eatontown.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
