...AN AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT SOUTHWESTERN
MONTGOMERY...CENTRAL CHESTER AND NORTH CENTRAL DELAWARE COUNTIES...

At 221 PM EDT, a cluster of strong thunderstorms was near
Coatesville, or 11 miles west of West Chester, moving northeast at 25
mph.

Winds up to 50 mph and pea size hail are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
West Chester, Phoenixville, West Norriton, Coatesville, Downingtown,
Collegeville, Royersford, Parkesburg, Trappe, West Grove, Pughtown,
Marshallton, Radnor Township, Lionville-Marchwood, Valley Forge,
Glenmoore, Paoli, Chester Springs, Lionville and King Of Prussia.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
