...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT CENTRAL SUSSEX...NORTHEASTERN
WARREN AND EAST CENTRAL MONROE COUNTIES...

At 1234 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Millbrook, or
11 miles west of Newton, moving east at 30 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Newton, Hopatcong, Franklin, Hamburg, Ogdensburg, Sussex,
Branchville, Andover, Flatbrookville, Lake Mohawk, Werry Lake,
Millbrook, Five Points, Pellettown, Crandon Lakes, Echo Lake and
Hidden Lake.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
