...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHERN MORRIS...NORTHEASTERN
SOMERSET AND NORTH CENTRAL MIDDLESEX COUNTIES...

At 757 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Chester, or 13
miles west of Morristown, moving southeast at 40 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph are possible with this storm. Locally heavy
rainfall may create ponding on roadways.

Locations impacted include...
Morristown, Madison, Middlesex, Florham Park, Bound Brook, Chatham,
Morris Plains, Mount Arlington, Mendham, Stanhope, Netcong, Peapack
And Gladstone, Chester, Far Hills, Long Valley, Martinsville,
Millington, Succasunna, Succasunna-Kenvil and Society Hill.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
