The heavy rain has ended for the time being and waters are receding.
The Flood Advisory has been canceled for Berks County and Chester
County.

...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 AM EDT FOR CENTRAL
MONTGOMERY AND BUCKS COUNTIES...

At 540 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Up to one or two inches of rain has already fallen in
parts of the area. Runoff from the heavy rain will continue to cause
minor flooding in the advisory area.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Lansdale, West Norriton, East Norriton, Quakertown, Perkasie,
Doylestown, Souderton, Bedminster, Collegeville, Chalfont, Tinicum,
Trappe, Hatfield, New Hope, Yardley, Newtown, Dublin, Schwenksville
and Ivyland.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
