SOUTHEASTERN CARBON...SOUTH CENTRAL MONROE AND NORTHAMPTON
COUNTIES...

At 706 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Northampton, or
9 miles north of Allentown, moving northeast at 20 mph.

Hail up to pea size and wind gusts to 30 mph are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Allentown, Bethlehem, Northampton, Nazareth, Palmerton, Bangor,
Slatington, Pen Argyl, Wind Gap, Bath, Walnutport, Belfast, Tatamy,
East Bangor, Steuben, Brodheadsville, Kunkletown, Neffs, Gilbert and
Coffeetown.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm, which may cause
ponding of water in poor drainage areas, including roads. Do not
drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning
can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter
inside a building or vehicle.
