...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHWESTERN BERKS COUNTY...

At 614 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Bernville, or
9 miles northeast of Myerstown. The storm is nearly stationary.
Given the torrential rainfall that has occurred here in the past two
hours, a flash flood warning may be required soon.

Winds up to 40 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Hamburg, Womelsdorf, Wernersville, Newmanstown, Leesport,
Shoemakersville, Bernville, Strausstown, Fairview Hgts and
Centerport.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
