...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 245 PM EDT
FOR WEST CENTRAL MORRIS AND EAST CENTRAL WARREN COUNTIES...

At 220 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Great
Meadows-Vienna, or 15 miles southwest of Newton, and is nearly
stationary.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hackettstown, Washington, Oxford, Hope, Great Meadows-Vienna,
Allamuchy-Panther Valley, Beatyestown, Brass Castle, Long Valley and
Beattyestown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
