...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTH CENTRAL MORRIS AND
SOUTHEASTERN SUSSEX COUNTIES...

At 111 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Ogdensburg, or
8 miles east of Newton, moving southwest at 5 mph.

Winds up to 50 mph and dime size hail are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Newton, Hopatcong, Franklin, Ogdensburg, Lake Telemark, Lake Mohawk,
Green Pond and White Meadow Lake.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
