SOMERSET COUNTIES...

The potential for localized minor flooding has come to an end in
Morris County and in Somerset County. As a result, the Flood
Advisory has been cancelled for the two counties.

...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1145 PM EST FOR
HUNTERDON COUNTY...

At 11:10 PM EST, runoff from today's rainfall was causing localized
minor flooding in Hunterdon County. Also, residual ice on local
rivers and streams was causing water to backup at some locations.

Additional rainfall around a half inch is possible overnight.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
