The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has extended the

* Flood Advisory for...
  New Castle County in northern Delaware...
  Kent County in northeastern Maryland...
  Cecil County in northeastern Maryland...
  Southwestern Salem County in southern New Jersey...
  Southwestern Chester County in southeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 700 PM EST

* At 249 PM EST...Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
  that between two and five inches of rain have fallen across
  portions of the advised area. Although most of the widespread rain
  has come to an end, water will be slow to drain. For this reason,
  the advisory has been extended.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
  Newark, Middletown, Elkton, Havre De Grace, Calvert, Smyrna,
  Chestertown, Oxford, North East, Clayton, West Grove, Rising Sun,
  Delaware City, Charlestown, Cecilton, Millington, Betterton, Glen
  Roy, Blake and Glasgow.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams...urban areas...highways...streets and underpasses
as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
